    Description

Porsche Warm Up Regulator Rebuilt 0438140033 - Unit needs to be sent in
     COMFIRM YOUR BOSCH PART NUMBER  - Bosch # 0 438 140 033

**NOTE** It is possible that your car may have a different Warm Up Regulator installed on it. It is imperitive that you confirm that the Bosch number on your Warm Up regulator is identical to the Bosch number shown above

Having problems starting your 911 when it's cold?  It could be the warm up regulator located on the upper left hand side of the engine. This simple device is responsible for controlling the amount of fuel delivered to the engine during it's warm-up period.  The pressure acting upon the top of the control plunger varies depending on the engine temperature and provides an effective method of enrichment.  The control pressure is tapped off from the primary pressure circuit in the metering head's lower chamber through a tiny restrictive hole which gives it the ability to differentiate between the two pressures.  A flexible pipe then connects the control plunger gallery to the warm-up-regulator and returns back to the metering head to a connection next to the primary pressure regulator's transfer valve.  This valve is in the circuit to close the fuel from the control circuit when the engine is off, avoiding the total loss of system pressure while the engine is stationary.

IMPORTANT CORE RETURN POLICY - PLEASE READ

A Core deposit is required on rebuilt parts to encourage you to return your original old part so that it can be rebuilt. Core deposits on some parts are very high because they are irreplaceable - if these cores are not returned, there may no longer be any available for rebuild in the future. Cores returned for credit must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice, and it must be exactly the same part as the one you received, complete and assembled, empty of fluids and reasonably clean. All cores must be free of any physical or accident damage, modifications or any other damage outside of normal wear-and-tear that may deem the core non-rebuilable. Any unacceptable core returned to Vertex will not be credited, nor will any shipping costs both inbound and outbound.
