What is a CORE Charge?

A Core deposit is required on rebuilt parts to encourage you to return your original old part so that it can be rebuilt. Core deposits on some parts are very high because they are irreplaceable - if these cores are not returned, there may no longer be any available for rebuild in the future. Cores returned for credit must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice, and it must be EXACTLY the same part as the one you received, complete and assembled, empty of fluids and reasonably clean. All cores must be free of any physical or accident damage, modifications or any other damage outside of normal wear-and-tear that may deem the core non-rebuildable. Any unacceptable core returned to Vertex will not be credited, nor will any shipping costs both inbound and outbound.

How Do I Return a Core?

Package your core using sufficient packaging material for safe transit. In many cases you can reuse the box and packaging material that your order arrived in. Please include a copy of your original sales receipt. If you cannot locate your sales receipt please call or email us to have a copy sent to you. No RMA numbers are required prior to returning your core. Ship the core back to us using a traceable and insured service such as UPS Ground or US Priority Mail to the following address:

Is tax added to my order?

We only collect tax for will call orders and orders shipped within the state Florida. The current tax rate is 7%

Yes. We offer a full color catalog offering Parts, Accessories and Tools for the Porsche automobile.

Our catalog is included Free with your parts purchase. If you would prefer a catalog prior to purchasing parts, you can order one for a flat fee of $10 shipped to the USA and Canada. International orders will be charged $25. To order your catalog, please contact us at the following:

I am interested in an item but it says it's a "Special Order" What does this mean?

When something is purchased as a "Special Order", it can mean one of several things:

  1. Most commonly it means that it is not a normally stocked item and it will be ordered on your behalf. This typically takes from 4-10 days, sometimes sooner.
  2. It could mean that it is a normally stocked item but is temporarily out of stock or the item is backordered from the manufacturer. Should this be the case, you will be notified either by phone or email informing you of the additional delay.
Please note, unless otherwise instructed, your entire order will be held until the arrival of your special order item.

What currencies can Vertex Auto accept?

All orders placed with are in United States Dollars (USD). Please consult with your bank for up to date exchange rates.

How do I know that my order was received?

You will receive a notification, including a copy of your invoice, via email to the address that you provided at checkout. In some cases, these notifications are delivered to your spam folder. It should take no longer than five minutes to receive your receipt.

How long after I place my order will it be shipped?

When shipping standard ground services, in most cases your order is shipped within 48 hours, not including weekends. The majority of time we ship much sooner. Should we foresee a lengthy delay in shipping, you will be notified via email or phone. Orders that are shipped using UPS Overnight, 2nd Day and 3 day services will take priority and ship the same day, providing that your order is made before 1:00 PM Eastern time and all items are in stock.

How long before I see my order?

Transit times vary based on your geographical location and shipping method chosen. Orders are shipped from our Miami, FL warehouse. Typical ground transit times are as follows:

How do I know when my order has been shipped?

You will receive and email us with your shipping date and tracking information on the day the package ships. If you do not receive your email tracking details can access your account and locate their data there. You can also call or email us for tracking information.
